Taken in the Arctic...
Lovely blue colour in the ice what time of year was this taken?
The end of August (August 30th)
Do we have to give you a new name then?
As this was in the ARCTIC, you say, not in the ANTarctic!
I have NEVER seen such a thing in my life.
Thank you so much for sharing!
And have you ever heard of a "leaden sky" ? Boy, this sky looks sooo heavy with clouds!
Wow! Now that's something you don't see every day, and it's a very nice picture.
Ha, we get those all the time, just outside the 7-11, Seriously though. Wow .
Awesome. Makes you wonder how big the base is under the water. Nice job!
great capture! I love the mix of the powerful sky and the colour of the iceberg
With how some people creatively name their threads, I was expecting to see some lettuce.
Heehee, no need for a new name! And you're right, the clouds looked very heavy/leaden indeed. Yet it didn't rain or snow when I was there, that I can recall.
When we were kayaking, we had to stay fairly far away from the icebergs in case they decided to roll over at that very minute, either on top of us, or swamping us with the wave that would result.
:lmao: (It's true though, that kind of thing could happen here!)
Beautiful! The color of the iceberg and the drama from the clouds add such a nice complexity to an otherwise perfectly simplistic shot.
wow I never see somethings like that beautiful blue
it's very blue
