Identifying Counterfeit EN-EL15 batteries

At the connection end of a genuine EN-EL15 note the small 'A' near the first connector? The third-party and counterfeit batteries do not have that.

Genuine Nikon batteries have been incredible for me in terms of performance, and length of service. Simply AMAZINGLY good.

yup...as soon as you replace your genuine OEM Nikon camera strap with a third party knockoff like black rapid...you are FUBAR.

3rd party gear is obviously known to NOT be Nikon-made. Counterfeit gear is made and marketing to make you believe it's OEM.
