Anyone know what this is? Looks like the love child of a mosquito and a dragonfly. Or an alien from one of the Star Wars movies.

Wow, no idea what you photographed here, but WHAT A PHOTO! :shock:
So good. Such well chosen DOF, plus the focus is perfect, so is lighting; and dancing around the mosquito-dragonfly until the flower was right behind it was GOOD!

Not a fan of the cropping, but that is one beautiful image. The color is just explosive.

agree with all of the above... im sure its a type of damselfly, which we should love because they EAT mosquitos yay!!!
