    Was playing around with some various light sources in my room, and remembered my lighter.

    Great capture!
    The slight blur makes this one stand out from the normal 'lighter in the dark' shot :thumbup:

    Were the little flint bursts you caught natural, or did you drop something over the flame?

    Thanks woodsac, the sparks are there because I actually took the photo of me lighting the lighter, not just the lighter in my hand. So i hit the shutter, then lit the lighter (which also caused the blur).

    I agree. That's close to something I see about once a hour unless I'm sleeping and never thought to do this. You are awesome for being so innovative with an everyday thing.
