They are indeed beautiful colors. Number 2 especially.

So cool to have such neat things in the backyard. All I have is deer.... and bear.... and supposedly a possible mountain lion (though they aren't suppose to be around here any more.)

All of the shots were shot in daylight hours... I like a technique that I learned from Joe McNally (Hot shoe diaries).

I crank up the flash on a SB-800 to +3 and way underexpose the image to achieve this effect.
