Im new to Furum !

Yeahhh , great to find you !
I just wanne go and find a little more advanced Cam than my , Compact Olympus FE-115 . Its have been nice and cheap , But I want more of a Cam . what Cam is great ,,got any Suggestion ?
I was and Lookin for a Nikon d40x ,, what do you think of that one , Im not any pro at this ,, its a Hobby !

Hello and welcome. I recommend going to a camera store and put your hands on different bodies and see which one fells the best. both Nikon & Canon are great cameras so you can't go wrong either way but try to stick to these two AS other brands do not have the system to back them up. The D40x is a very good camera but it will not focus with a screw type lens, you must get AFS Nikon lens or HMS sigma lenes. Another option is to get a good used D80 or D200 as prices are going down now with the new D300 coming out soon.

But the Dig Cams over here is not that cheap as over there ,, I have to pay 1166 US Dollar for a New Nikon D40x , they most be cheaper over there ?
