I have a couple of local cemetaries that I frequent and I take along the following. Mamiya, 45mm, 150mm, red filter, yellow filter, tripod, cable. I always shoot black and white anyway but I do love the way that you can work on contrast and tonality without potentially drab and bland coloring getting in the way of the subject.

Depending on when im going...Im either going to have the schools Rebel XT/kit lens/tripod or I'll have my pentax k200d/50mm f/1.4 lens/tripod.

I don't think B&W is a must, try some that are just desaturated a bit also, see what comes out best.

Yeah, this way is better... you don't want to miss an opportunity to take a picture of your lifetime which looks a lot better in color.. you'll be quite annoyed

exactly!!! haha. I always shoot in color for that reason. that way i can make two pictures out of one. can't do that if you shoot in black and white!
