In and Out of Focus

I had a hankering for summer, so I thought I'd post this shot of Colorado's state flower. Probably needed a little shallower DOF for the proper background blur, but I thought it was pretty enough to post anyway. Taken northeast of Steamboat Springs last June.

I like it! a agree about the dof, but the bright purple in the flower helps that alot. very nice shot, and what a pretty flower.

Yeah, the second flower is a bit distracting, but very nice all the same.

Thats a very nice flower, if your not happy with it shoot it again. I also agree with you that it does need a shallower DOF though.

Agree with the DOF but the flower is certainly interesting and nicely captured.
