BD, not a bad shot, crisp and sharp, but I think the only nit would be that the end of the left wing is cropped off. These shots are always better if you can see the whole bird.

I think sometimes it is okay not to have the whole bird. The shot is about tension and that anticipitory moment just as it is all about to take place. Unfortunately, there were lots of limbs and other crap above and to the left to prevent a whole bird shot. That I was able to get this close when everyone else had dropped their lenses because of all the debris in the way makes this shot even more special to me as I rarely ever give up on a shot. I do appreciate your notation however and agree that all of it is a better shot.
