Photos NOT OK to edit
I wrote a blog today that I have been meaning to write for quite some time. It started out with the intent of just retelling my favorite memory of her, but ended up being a very emotional thing.

I'm quite proud of it, and though I'm sitting here in tears in the school library computer lab, I feel really good about writing it.

I'd love for you all to read it.

Thanks guys. It's slightly long, but it's very personal.

My sympathy for your bittersweet memory. I miss my Gramma. She gave me my love for the outdoors. I'm a Grandfather now. I do my best- pass it on.

I only met my one grandma once - when I was 4. My other grandma died when I was 16. I wish I'd known them more. My only aunty died about 3 years ago. It is very good luck that my wife met her even though it was for only a very brief 10 minutes.

My grammy is literally my soul mate. When I talk to her on the phone, I can finish her sentences, and she can do the same with me. I can only hope some day I can make one person feel the way my grandma makes everyone in her life feel. She's the coolest grammy ever!

Okay, well you might not think she's the coolest, but I DO!
