In the woods

    Out with the new zoom lens today and saw this girl bedded down deep in the woods.

    I'm not totally sure how I feel about the picture yet....

    The branches in the foreground add to the picture. It's very nice.

    Feel good about it!
    This is one where I really like the centred subject, and the framing by the trunks to the left and the right, plus the feeling of depth and distance created by the blurred twigs all through the foreground. Underlines the "hiding" aspect of this photo and goes absolutely well with deer (for me they never say as close, so not even 300mm would get them to fill so much of MY frames, ever).

    You did good focusing on the deer instead of the branches. I like the pov.
