I had a pair of Indigo Buntings come into the backyard on January 30. I have been watching them as the male is a young Male Bunting. The female bunting looks like an adult. Hopefully they will become regular visitors so I can get him in his male adult colors.. My fingers are crossed.
Here is the Indigo Bunting when I first Saw him

Nice captures!! What a colorful bird as well. Love the blues! I have been blessed with Painted Buntings this year...this guy would be a lifer for me!
 
Excellent series, Love these, I dunno if they will stay South they usually come back up North.
