I was thinking of buying an SLR film camera. I heard good things about the Canon Rebel line. Anyone have any advice on what cameras are good for me (Im on a budget).

Not a bad camera at all especially for the price. I have (2) EOS 2000 bodies and a few lenses. I was at a camera store this morning looking through the used stuff - there was a 2000 with a 28-80mm zoom for $225.00. You could pick up something in the manual types for maybe $100 less. Check out some pawn shops.

Check out ebay, I bought a Ricoh KR5 super (fully manual SLR) for $35, including the shipping. There are lots of really cheap cameras on ebay, just be careful of all those ebay scam problems...
