inside the crypt

    here is a photo I took last saturday in a roman church in Normandie. The crypt is not completely buried, but only on one side.

    That is a neat photo! I'd frame the left side of the picture with a collumn, though (as in, make it a little wider so part of the collumn is in frame if it's possible).

    I also noticed that the center collumn looks bent! Is that place safe to be in?

    yes, the place is safe ;-)
    the crypt was too small to take the photo with one shot, so it's a panoramic view. I think the column looks bent because of deformations when I assembled the pictures. It's also accentuated by the shadow on the column.

    I agree with your comment about the left side. But I can't take the photo again now ...

    I really think framing a photo on it's left side would improve it.. I understand you cant reshoot it, but mind if I give it a shot digitally? I'm just curious what it would come out looking like.

    Nice shot. I especially like how the strong sunlight hits the main column and if you used perspective correction all, you did an excellent job of it.
