Inspiration, Flickr and photograping people!

Many photographers develop a style that sort of gives their pictures a uniqe theme. Like these pictures from Soda O on Flickr:

I find them amazing! He is so good at using the light, DoF, composure... What really puts his pictures a notch above other great exposures is the great CS2 work and infinitely pleasing colours though... Incredible!


How does he do it though? Any good resources (books?) on photographing people? It must be outside of the studio setting. Creative thinking, capturing moods, moments or a state of mind? The more advanced or to the point the better!

How about CS2 examples / how-to's on various effects?

Ohh, and if anyone else have a favourite photographer on Flickr or elsewhere its always a pleasure to watch and get inspiration that way as well!
 
Unfortunately, images of this nature are not the norm on Flickr. One would suppose that this shooter has had some training.
