G'day Fellas!

I'm currently studying Retail at TAFE (college) and my Visual Merchandising teacher has given us an assignment where we have to 'build a store on paper' and i've chosen to build a Camera store (surprise!). Now the question for everyone here is:

What would you want from the store? i.e: A testing area so you can try out different lenses and accessories for your camera before buying?

More Suggestions are welcomed and i'll reference each valid suggestion in the bibliography. :)

Sidenote: i'm not descriminating in anyway but to keep the store simple i'm only going to carry 2 brands and they will be Canon and Nikon so don't be dissapointed if Pentax, Leica, Fujifilm, etc doesn't appear becuase i'll be posting my finished article for all to see! :D (if I can find some webspace)

No Olympus, MF or LF? Well I'm just going to have to take my custom elsewhere.

Plenty of parking and assistants that aren't morons, please.
Oh, and a good Photography bookstore in house.

Forgot to mention it's all going to be Digital and no film. (guess it's a specialist store huh?)

*I have to agree with Hertz in regards to a good reference book area. Because any newbie to the digital or even the photography world will want to get hold of a good book on the subject, which equals more money spent in your store (cha-ching $$$ ) :)
*If not the ability to use the camera at least a collection of printed images showing results in diff sizes.
*People who know what they are on about behind the counter.
*A web address for your store including an on-line catalogue. Not necessarily buy on-line but be able to see what you have from home before heading out on foot.
*After sales assistance or advice.
*A good selection of accessories for the cameras in store covering entry, prosumer and DSLR cameras.
*Maybe even availability of photog. courses run through the store.

Just some ideas for you to play with. I could go silly but i'll save the sillyness for Sunday at Luna Park :)
