A week ago today I went on a little excursion into a swampy area that I had only found myself towards the end of October (see here , mostly so in Post 21), and I had ever since planned to go there and be there for sunrise. I was hoping to find some birds there, but - me being me, and not precisely camouflaged by me anorak , aren't_I ? - they all flew away before I even got to my vantage point. :er: Well...... Nevertheless, here are a couple of photos taken during the "expedition", for other than the self-portrait I haven't shown you any of them as yet. 1. Actual sunrise happened while I was still on my way ... 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. For some reason, this one goose did not fly away with all the rest and never really moved from where it was, I think it might be ill or injured, else I wouldn't know why it stayed!?!? With me coming ... but my lens is insufficient, anyway.
