Introduction from Kansas (For Now)

I was delighted to find this site as I am an avid photographer, and have been since the age of 10 or so. Not until 40 years later did I really start to see things in my photography that others were saying. I shoot digital mostly, using Canon 5D, 30D, G7, and Elan ll (for film). I am still learning, and developing my style, and hope that the good people here can help me with direction, and expertise. I hope that my experience can help others as well.

I look forward to seeing everyones work and receiving honest feedback. If I can be of encouragement, or help to anyone, then I feel like I am giving back to the work that has given so much to me.

After several trips to Colorado I started to notice that when I left home I could not wait to get there. When I left Colorado the view in the rearview mirror left me feeling depressed. I had always believed I would take these trips to Colorado until the commute became too arduous. It is now time to shorten the commute.
