IR Ice

    I have been shooting at this stream alot lately, but I keep going back trying different things. I tried some IR today, I like the way the ice turned out.

    excelent, such an apropriate colour, it would be nice to see some closer shots where the colour played more part in the composition, but this is a really nice use for the technique.

    Wonderful to see what some members on here can do photographywise! I am in awe! IR has fascinated me ever since I have heard about it on here and seen results. Ice in IR ... comes out extra special. Wow. Such a cool (both literally and figuratively) colour!

    Thanks everyone, The nice blue you see isn't actually what the IR produces straight out of teh camera. After using the snow to do a white balance the images look like this.

    after that I just switch the red and blue channel to give the image a more "natural" look.
