Is 4yr old film still good?

I got about 30 rolls each of 200 ASA and 400 ASA color film with an expiration of 9/04.

Might it still be good or no?

I don't shoot film anymore. If it might still be good would anyone like to try it? I'll give you a roll and if you like it, I'll give you 3 more for the favor of having checked it out for me.

if it has been kept in the freezer there is a chance that it will be fine.

in the trunk of a car. doubtful

I shoot expired film almost exclusively. Some of it is more recent and it has pretty normal characteristics so I use that when I want normal. Some of it has become a little strange over the years for one reason or another and I use those when I want have something different looking.
