    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    Is the 18-200 mm lens good? My friend said to me that the picture taken with that lens appears to be round and not clear. I'm confused here, cos a lot of people said that it's a very good lens wit broad range.

    You didn't mention the brand; my response is about the Nikon 18-200 VR.
    The 18-200 gets a rap for not being as sharp as shorter zooms.
    That may be so but the benefit of a good 18-200 from a first line manufacturer is that it is a great walk-around lens of unparalleled versatility.

    I would chose prime lenses for portraits or work that I have the time to make choices or can carry everything around but for general walk-around, the 18-200 is great. I carried it for 5+ weeks through Laos and it never left the camera.

    Have a look at the pictures from Laos in link in my signature and see if they seem OK to you.

    Yeah, I was sayin bout Nikkor lense. If the Nikkor lens result appears to be not that sharp. Are there any brands out there that is better than Nikkor
