    Hello everyone,

I used my d40 camera. Somehow I can't set shutter speed more than 1/500s using flash. Without flash, I can set to 1/4000, but there is not enough lighting which force me to use flash.

What do you think the photo here?Is the bubble of the oil clear enough?

    Here is the original photo

What can I do without buying external flash?

    TIA

    Regards
    Leigh

1/500th of a second is your flash sync. It's the fastest you can shoot with flash while still covering the entire frame.

You should buy a few photography books in your native language. It will make things much easier.
