Playing around with my new glass and captured this, ISO 6400....wow...still pushing the limits and exploring this camera

I was actually quite curious about the high iso noise perfomance on the D700
that looks really good

feel free to post more examples.

hows the iso25600 look? useable at all?

I'm still in the learning curve, over the next few days I'll do a series of high iso shots. Almost seems like you can't get any grain...

This was another. More or less playing around when I took this one and was kinda impressed with the details. fish is only about 1" in size and crazy, impossible to get the blasted thing to stay still

firstly that is fantastic low noise and now I am jealous (I don't even think my camera can go that high with ISO!)
The second shot though - great to see such detail in a tricky shot. You might be new to this game but your picking it up very quickly!
