    So....instead of spending some of my money on that 500mm f/8, my parents found me a great deal on a D70 on B&H Photo Video in the used department.

    We just finished checking out
    AND OMG IM SO EXCITED

    sorry for the poitnless thread...just ridiculesly excited.

    NICE! The D70 is such as awesome camera too, CLS, AND can sync at 1/500th of a second at full power, CRAZY! My D700 can't even do that!

    Good catch - the D70 has a LOT going for it. You'll be very happy with your new acquisition.

    The D70s was my first digital, and it served me well. It is a great camera...congrats.

    I have my 2 manual focus lenses from my FM10, an 80-200 f/4.5 and a 35-105mm f/3.5, which is foggy, and is rather soft. I say its not at all brighter than my 80-200. Also, it has a lot of internal dust,
    Ive wanted to take it apart and clean it, but ive been too scared Id mix something up, scratch something, or not put it back together again right.

    Ha, a 14 year old kid will have a better camera than yoouu. :lol:

    just kidding of course....Id much rather have the D700, wanna trade?:lmao:
