    the 1st one : composition is very strange, I don't like it very much... And, it's really blurred :(

    the 2nd one : more interesting for me. But very too dark. Maybe it would be perfect if you crop it vertically, by deleting black parts on the rigth and on the left. I know it's a difficult pic to take, so I'm impressed :)

    I like both of them. In each one you took a mundane subject and found an interesting way to present it. They might be improved if the main subjects were not so dead center.

    I'm sorry, these picture's just have no appeal for me. I have problems with the content, the composition, the exposure, the focus--I can't recognize any intentional technique.

    But I admire those who recognize beauty in everything they behold.

    I mostly agree with canonrebel, but I think the first one would have been pretty good if not the focus/exposure problem.
