    Yayyy, it's aviation picture time again!! Nice set of shots, Tim. I had NO idea the wings folded back like that. I like 'em all, but really like the reflection and clouds in #2, and the awesome sky in #5.

    yep that sky in #5 is a bit sexy!

    The wings fold so they can fit them easily onto a carrier.

    Kinda makes me laugh to think that the US Navy has more planes than the Royal Air Farce, i mean Force

    Thanks everyone! I think the rough weather we had there resulted in some better photographic opportunities. There was even a rainbow nearby but that would have been 'too' nice. :wink:

    how do you get on the flight line of a US Air Field? Ive always been curious

    Im a spy! No, only joking.....I was with the editor of a military aircraft magazine. It was arranged in advance and we were treated very well.
