The mood of these is interesting. Two things. One, a lot of detail is lost in the shadows on these. Perhaps a bit underexposed in the shadows? Also, I don't see anything that speaks about where this is or what it is exactly. Where is the Star of David? Where are the Jewish names on the head stones? I realize that a lot of times old headstones have illegible writing, but there should be something that denotes this place and distinguishes it a bit better.

DigitalDiva - thanks for the comment. Well, not underexposed. Not at all...just the postprocessing and the fact that i chose to keep it minimalistic and with less details favoring the dark/creepy mood (at least in my opinion).

And about the star of david....if i recall exactly, and it strikes me now, only a few of them had it all, because the cemetery was in a really poor situation and a lot of the graves were broken.

I assume they work better as prints. The problem with a small jpg on the internet is that details such as branches just become digital moosh, and it is hard for the eye to find the detail it is expecting. The mood is good. In some, the composition is too full of things - stones, trees, etc. - to work online.

Especially 6 - 10 are very full.

Good work though, post more when you have some.
