    Some pictures from my recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park in California.
    Please comment or critic. All taken with my recently purchased Minolta Maxxum 7, Tamron 28-200 lens with Polarizing Filter.

    the last one is great, i love how the backlighting highlights the tree/bush thing. :roll:

    1. nice composition.
    2. not too sure about this one, something bothers me, but cannot figure out what. i like the silouette but seems too grounded or something.
    3. and 5. love both of these but would show more sky, less foreground. the dark clouds and sky in 3. are quite dramatic.
    6. my favorite out of all. love the backlit look of the cactus. i have one of these take in barcelona a little closer up, they are wonderful plants. would like to see a macro of this one.

    #3 is my fave. I love how it's composed. I seem to detect a magenta cast, but it could be my puke work monitor - but even with the cast, it's surreal enough to get away with it. My kinda image - nice job!!! :D

    Well thanks for your kind words. It's great how different people all have different shots they like best. I have a roll of black and white from the same trip that I have not developped yet. Will post if I like any of them.

    Yeah, Id love to see the BW.
    I like 2 and the last. Great colours in these.
    My only complaints are as a U2 fan that you didnt get Bono to stand in front. :green to:

    Love the composition on the first one, but the backlighting on the last is perfect!
