    hey everyone,

I just took a photo I class at a small university and really liked working in the darkroom. Problem is, class is over. Are there places that have darkroom setups that are open to the public?

P.S. I live in the DFW, Texas area if that helps out.

    thanks

In my town the local arts center offers photography classes, but if you just want to use the darkroom (with no instructor) you can pay to do that too.

Same here, there is a private photography school where you can takes classes that offer access to the darkroom, or you can rent time by the hour. It's a community darkroom, I would imagine that's the most common setup you'll find.

Check your local schools or do an online yellow pages search. You'll more than likely find someplace within a reasonable driving distance where you can rent some time. Good luck!
