Just got the Panasonic GX7 - updating the firmware what is the latest for the 14-42mm

I have updated the body to the latest, but the kit lens H-FS1442A is only showing firmware v1.0, is this the latest?

My "H-FS1442A" is not in that list, your not getting confused by the "H-FS014042" are you, i did myself but it has more lens elements, it`s maybe a older version?

Well, if I remember correctly, the Oly updater will tell you if your lens firmware is up to date.

Does that work with Panasonic Camera`s ???

EDIT : I just tried it, it does not see my camera

Oh boy am I thick! I was thinking you had an Oly camera, sorry. The fact they both have 14-42 kit lenses escaped me. :blushing:

Have you checked the Panasonic website latest updates should be there.........

Yeah, I did before i started this thread, but my lens "H-FS1442A" is missing from the firmware list, so that must mean there is no update available and v1.0 that it came with is the latest, I just wanted to be certain.
