Just Saying Hello

I didn't seen an introduction spot on the forum, so I'm hoping this is okay...if not sorry!!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here in the beginners area, as i have joined the ranks of the beginner photographer today! I have been wanting to take the plunge for a few years now but never really had the means to do so. I was given an old Petri FT by my father a few years ago but it wasn't long before internal springs stared letting go on me..so I held off and purchased an Olympus E-500 with 14-45 and 40-150mm lenses(yesterday)......so long story short....I'm looking forward to sharing my battle, with all of you! (sorry for the long intro!)
