Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi everyone! I have had a Sony CyberShot DSC-P41 for about a year now, and I have accumulated lots of pictures. Please let me know if there are things I can do to make my pics better. I'm still new at the camera settings...I've been using Auto mode forever...But I found that if you play with the settings, you can take a much better photograph.
Does anyone have the Cybershot DSC-P41? Any tricks I should know for this particular camera?
Thanks.

number three looks like amanita muscaria ..sweet find...

the comp and focus of these pictures arent the greatest...but i love myco porn regardless

Yeah, the comp and focus are off. I have this problem when I shoot sometimes. The problem I have is, I'm sometimes in a hurry and just want to fill up that roll (I use film) fast. Bad idea. When you see something like that, take your time and try to select the correct aperture (What YOU think works best for the shot and as much as you can with your knowledge, I'm no expert!), DOF and focusing. Really try to compose the shot. Also, auto isn't always the best way to go. I've seen it in my own shots.

Good shots for not knowing what you're doing with the camera! Keep shooting!

HASHASHIN: I think it might be an amanita muscaria too! but i can't be sure. It has all of the characteristics of the Guessowii variety...or subspecies.

Weaving Wax: Thanks for your positive comments! I will definitely try to take more time with my pics...I'm going to try to learn what my camera will do, so that I can adjust the settings and take the best pic I can.

Are you shooting with a flash in all of these? If so, try turning it off and playing with different lighting, shadows etc.

I'm pretty sure I only used the flash on the last 2 pics. And yes, that's a good idea about the shadows and lighting...I'll be trying that!

Just thought I'd post some more pictures...These ones are a bit more in focus, and colorful. I'd really like to know what people think of these.
Thanks.

Hi BeachMan, welcome to ThePhotoForum.
Please go back into your photo posts and edit some spaces between the pics and maybe (please!) also numbers.
And I am not sure it was the wisest move to edit them into thumbnails. You get more replies when your photos show up right in the thread and no one needs to neither click on a link or a thumbnail but everyone can stay right in the thread and see and appreciate your photos. Best size is between 600 and 800px wide (max) (or high in the case of vertical frames).

Thanks for your suggestions! I am new here, so I will need a little guidance.

Here are a few more pictures from my collection...hope you like them. I know they're not perfect....but I'm in the process of learning more. I would love to hear some comments on my pics! Thanks.
