Just Turned 1

This little guy just turned one and his parents had me out to get his portraits done. We started out slow, he wasn't convinced he wanted to play with me at all! But he loosened up once we got outside and played in the grass.

These are absolutely adorable...

#3 and #4 are great, can't say anything else!
I am going to start doing some baby/maternity photography myself, so these are great examples.

Great shots, very sharp. #3, you really captured the color in his eyes, how pretty! lol @ #4 (not too much emotion for poor dad)... he seems like a pretty mellow kid especially in this series even if you hadn't mentioned it.

Thank you, everyone!

He was pretty serious about the whole thing, but then his dad started running back and forth behind me and making random noises, and that brought on the giggles... for both me AND the little guy LOL

Here are a few more now that processing is done. I'm delivering the proofs today, which always gives me a little nervous excitement!

I am kicking myself for not shifting my position a little bit more to the right and getting slightly lower for that last shot. I find it way too centred and the composition is just "off" but I can't put my finger right on it. Any ideas?
