How can I look my portraits look more professional, or magazine quality?

1) be careful of extraneous background, ie subjects foot appears to be protruding from her head.
2) framing the subject vertically would work better in this shot.
nice pose, striking hair color, compemented by the green grass.

That red hair is beautiful. I would not dress her in red, as it clashes with the hair. Put her in some black or white and see how that looks. Her hair and the green grass should be plenty of color. You may wanna look at her lipstick too.

I agree with Fullpower,

This is a good shot but that blob sticking out of her head is a killer.

Just by holding up my hands up to crop off either side so that she fills the frame...makes this a much better photo.

The lighting is very nice, the exposure is great and the colors are fantastic. Nice work.
