Kenko Lenses

I recently gained access to a Kenko 600-1000mm telephoto lens. I have taken some pictures of the moon with decent results and would like to make an offer to the owner of the lense to purchase it. I cannot, however, locate one on the internet to determine it's value. How good is the glass in these lenses? Do they have any known/inherent flaws? It's not a very fast lens.....f9.9-f13.....but seems good enough for daylight photos and moon shots. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Not really a common lense, so you may not get any info from the group here.

The Kenko 420-800 f/8.3-16 is going for $180 (new) on eBay ... you can always use that as a starting point for used.

do they use the same quality glass in there instant lenses as in the fresh ground lenses

(if you dont live in the UK youm might not get that...)
