Has anyone used Kentmere 100 B&W film? I would appreciate opinions on the quality of the film from anyone who uses or has used it. Any positives or negatives (pun intended!) would be nice.

To damn with faint praise, I found it OK - no negatives to report - but didn't like it as much as Adox CHS film which is my favourite film.

I haven't used it in a while. Kind of contrasty, which isn't necessarily a negative thing, and there's still a good range of tones. Grain is not super fine but there's nice clarity. Though I've only developed it in Caffenol so it may react differently to other developers. Here are a few examples with different cameras/lenses to show the quality and tonal range in different lighting conditions:

I've never shot it but I have developed many rolls for clients. Looks like just a good quality mid-grade film and scans rather well.

Here is a blog I ran into on the film.....
