Finally had a chance to test out my newly acquired Sigma 105mm 2.8 DG EX OS HSM. Way different than anything I have been using up to this point. The focus gets real tight the closer you get. This thing wasn't hardly moving thank you very much.

The second one is the one to show people. The others don't have enough depth of field. Looks like the lens performs very well.

Very nice! I do agree with @fmw about the DOF. The shallow DOF works in 4, but I'd like to see a tad more in 1 and 3.

I don't know, I think that is what I like about the macro lens. Granted, I am not used to it but it seems you can be a little more artistic. I got the idea real quick the closer I got. I kind of like the ability to focus on one aspect of the frog and the rest blurred out, is there some rule I am breaking again?
