    I'm from Auckland, on the North Island of New Zealand. I work as a professional photographer, magazine editor and drinker of beer.

    Thought I'd sign up, and say hi, maybe share some ideas, knowledge and even a few photos here and there!

    Good to see another kiwi on site, we are a few hours north of you midway between Taupo and Rotorua (where the cyclists in the Taupo ironman came and also the Rotorua to Taupo 100k flyer).
    Bit different to what I was used to in Taranaki, but got to get used to it. have already discovered that we get fog, a lot of it, infact would almost be a daily occurence
