    Very nice. Great focus and lighting. He was quite the little ham for the camera. ;)

    That he was. He didn't run far from me. Got a couple nice ones. This was th best.

    Nice shot of the Killdeer...usually these guys bolt right away...:thumbup:

    No offense to you....I know a 500mm mirror is better than having no 500 at all, but the bokeh from this lens is horrible.

    I believe this is typical for mirror lens. With the donuts shapped bokeh.

    No offense taken. I know the characteristics of these lenses, and the price was right. Like you said, a 500mm mirror is better than nothing.
