Neet bird. There is a soon to be family nesting in the parking lot where I have been getting some part time work. When I first spotted one sitting in the on ground nest, it got up right away to lead me away from the nest. Half way across the driveway the bird started with the "injured" wing. As we got to the other side of the driveway, the "broken wing" started. It is neet how they lure you away from the nest.

Also, I spotted these little guys catching some very early morning rays on the way to work this morning.

Very nice shots, animals do some weird things I agree. I like the color contrast in the first picture. Good work.

Good series and exposures. Those birds sure can ham it up. I especially like the third picture, good colors and comp. Neat the way you got the wings in a blurr and the tail nice and sharp. Well done.

I had heard of the trick this bird will do to lead you away from the nest, but had never seen it before. He/She put on quite a show for me.

    Thanks for the kind words.
