An image I took of our cat. Added a creepy desk light facing the wall in the left corner to get a little more light (it was already quite dark). I was quite suprised with the impact it made on the final image (another thing learned about lighting) and I really like the result. Also learned that I have to turn everything noisy and distracting on the camera off (no AF-light, no beep-sounds) if I want to get an image of THAT cat ;-). No digital reworking at all (except resizing and framing).
Please tell me if it works.

Your cat is well lit. I am not too sure about the orange foreground ... but maybe you needed to hide the camera a little behind something to get this? You did well on the given lamp light! His whiskers come out so nicely!
