I like the B&W toning.

The DOF is too narrow, though. The angle of the ammo boxes is too steep; you should be able to read the end labels on the boxes.

The DOF of the knives, likewise are a bit shallow. You need a steeper angle of view, which might help with the sharpness of the product images.

If you're trying for "product" views, both photos are a bit busy; too many products for the eye to focus.

I like the concept, here and B&W tones! On the first image, I think the focus should have been one column of boxes closer. As it stands the focal plane is odd and hard to find at first glance.

On the second image I would suggest either greatly increasing you DOF to incorporate the nearest knife, or remove that knife from the frame all together. It really draws the eye away from the other knives in focus.
