    Hi,

I have a Canon A630, but can't begin to understand how to use the manual settings. The booklet that came with the camera is pretty basic, and not overly helpful.

Does anyone any good books/websites that can teach me how to set the aperture, shutter speed, etc. to get great photos?

    Thanks!

I bought The Complete Idiots Guide to Photography Like a Pro a while back and it pertained a lot to film but the information is quite useful as manual settings really have changed!

I've got a Scott Kelby book that is pretty helpful... forget the name off the top of my head (doh!)
