Kodak M1033 or Pentex M50?

I bought both of these camera's for under $100. One is going to be returned, but I can decide which one is better. It is for my 10 year old daughter (very beginner). She will be using the auto mode only and some video.

Which one should I keep

M1033 (10 MP)
M50 (8 MP)
