Hello Im an American living in Tokyo, Im very new to photography, just bought my first dslr. Its a Sony a230 w/lens: 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 SAM (kit lens). Seems to me to be a very good beginner camera! Anyways hope to learn as much as possible on here!!

Oh I envy you. Tokyo, and Japan in in general, is a great and beautiful place for photography.

Your right Japan is absolutely beautiful! I have only been here since august so I have much more exploring I need to do!
