    We have a pair of Kookaburras that regularly visit us here. I managed to grab a few close up shots of these birds. I love these birds, they have so much attitude!

    Awesome captures!! I have only seen those in our local Zoo...to see one in the wild must be so cool!!:thumbup:

    Wow! Now that's a cool bird. Was it it in the rain too? If so even better!

    Yeah, the Kookaburras often rest on our balcony in the rain, and dive down to the garden below and plunge their beaks into the mulch and pull our large beetle larvae. How they manage to see them I don't know, their eyesight must be so acute. I just love these birds, they have so much character.
