Legal rights-photography link?

Does anyone have any good links to websites or videos that explain things such as who, what,where your allowed to photograph. Things that could possible get you into legal trouble while photographing.

Stuff of that nature.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer for all cases. Every instance can only be determined by taking the case to court and obtaining a judgement.

Two seemingly identical cases may result in totally different results.


Also, it would help if you post what country you're in.

I'm in canada. I'm basically just looking for guidelines. Such as can you photography anyone you see walking down a public street? Do you need there permission? Can security gaurds stop you from photographying a building if there's no signs posed.

I seen a article online nearly a year ago that outlined some different senerios. And listed some "rights as a photographer". But I can't seen to find the article anymore.
