Legria R47 - problem

Hi guys,

not sure if anyone in this forum (or if am in the right forum) that could help me?

I got married last weekend and used the Legria HF R47 to record the groomsmens speeches... HOWEVER.... although the camera filmed everything else that day.. on the flip screen it shows the speeches not with the usual preview image but a big yellow question-mark

. Now I thought I could probably recover it myself.. but with no success.. but the size of the file is 4GB which means to me that there was must be something there and the camera probably just hasnt finalised the file...

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do or perhaps help me?.. I dont want to pay a fortune for a data recovery - am quite IT literate so should be able to do it myself... just need some guidance please... (this is definitely an appeal.. as I'll never see those speeches again).
