I'm selling a VERY rare Leica "Mountain Elmar" lens in a good EXC ++

The pictures show the worst of brassing and minor scratching (actually it is in nicer condition in person) will need to be cleaned, but the lenses were inspected by a professional, and are perfect.

this lens was produced in the 30's and is highly sought after, as Leicas only 105 mm SM lens.
according to several sources, there were only 3500 or so of these lenses made.

prices vary from 750 (one on an ebay store for $750 in poor condition, to 1750 for MINT+ condition.)

I am currently taking offers.

If I don't receive a reasonable offer within the next few days, I'm going to list it on eBay. I'd much rather see a collector or a user buy it, rather than a re-seller.
I do have an excellent eBay feedback (rabbitation84) for reference.

thank you!

Oooh!...

Would love to but I spent my X-mas $$ on a Leica M3 with 50 Summicron and 35 Summaron w/eyes. Can't afford any more for now! :( :grumpy:
