    Hey everyone,

I am a beginner to photography. I own a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. A family member was a photography enthusiast in the 70s and owns a couple of old Vivitar Lenses for a Pentax camera. They are 55 mm. Is there a way to make them fit on my Canon Rebel?

Thanx for any and all help

Yes, if you want to spend the money to have someone custom make a mount. Very expensive. Also you will have no Auto Focusing and no ability to adjust you apeture. Lenses that old were manual apeture, not electronic set by the body. About the only thing they might be good for is if you got intrested in macro photography and purchased a bellows. You would have to purchase the correct mounting ring for the camera but it would work. Again expensive.
